De Carniola
De Carniola Horses was born from our passion for horses and breeding. Our goal is to create a small breeding program with a handful of carefully selected brood mares that we care about and trust in.
We sell both foals and young horses that we train and compete ourselves. We started our business in France but will be relocating to our own yard in Slovenia next year where we will stable, breed and train our horses.
Breeding philosophy
We choose broodmares with the best lines and invest time getting to know them through everyday handling, training and competitions. The stallions we select need to be a great fit for our mares in every way to get the most talented progeny.
We want the best for our foals and dream of one day watching them take the biggest stages this sport has to offer.

Matic enjoys planning ahead and researching. Our breeding program is his hard work and passion.
Paula loves horses, the outdoors and everything that has to do with media. She enjoys creating and organising.
Lily the dalmatian loves big fields, snuggles and the muck heap. She keeps everyone in good spirits when times get tough.
